About

Hi, I’m Isabel. I’m a film and tv producer turned project manager, brand strategist currently living in Bogotá after completing my graduate degree in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons in 2017.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I started working in Film when I graduated college in 2007. I worked as an assistant in almost every department in the film world: production, art, camera and even sound before deciding that people, budgets and management was what really drove my desire to be in the business and decided to stick with production. I worked in NY as a production assistant,  production coordinator and production manager before moving back to Colombia to be a line producer for Los Notarios, a production company focusing on TV spots and working alongside prestigious advertising agencies.

After working for other people for 5 years, I decided to open up my own shop. I co-founded Omnom, a digital content production company, with my brother as creative director. While I was doing this, I was also working with my family’s business as a financial and administrative manager running a co-working space in Bogotá.

Managing the co-working space introduced me to a whole new array of people in different businesses, and eventually started working with one of the startups working out of our space: Siegenthaler & Co.  a brand consultancy firm in Bogotá.

Working at S&Co opened up possibilities I didn’t even know existed. It sparked my passion for graphic design, brand management and strategy. This unexpected change in my career gave me the opportunity to discover design thinking, design strategy, service design and helped me create a new professional profile and venture into the world of a Masters Program in New York City.

After completing my Masters, I came back to Bogotá and started leading the UX department at Mass Digital. We focus on designing experiences that create a better life for our users while transforming our client's businesses.
